Hello, Fellow NACHI Members-
Do we have anyone interested in attending a Commercial Inspections Course?  It would tentatively be held around Lewiston, ID, to make it somewhat central to N&S Idaho, as well as some adjacent areas of WA & MT.  Here's what Joe Farsetta says about the course he teaches:
"We'll look for 25 or 30 attendees. $150 for one day Commercial Course. If I do Well & Water on Day 2, I can swing both for like $225 ($75 discount).  I go through the commercial standards and best practices in a head-spinning 8 hours. I also provide a CD with around 70 files on it.   I teach you what you need to know to do commercial stuff and protect yourself along the way. It's 1/3 the price of the ITA course, and has gotten better reviews from some who have attended both.  If you're interested in the well and water, I can also give info."
 
Email me back, tell me who is interested in attending.  Also, we may make a mini-conference out of it, if we can get Bruce & Judy Kirby to come and give their presentation on a day before or after Joe's.

The use of thermal infrared (IR) imaging is a valuable tool for inspecting and performing non-destructive testing of building elements. Mr. Myracle will discuss and display thermal imaging applications used to diagnose problem areas in building construction or design. Such applications include: detecting where and how energy is leaking from a building's envelope; collecting data for clarifying the operating conditions of hard to reach heating ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) installations; identifying moisture intrusion that is not visible to the naked eye; and identifying problems with electrical and mechanical installations.
